SFISD District Social Worker Lois Jones is the Texas State Social Worker of the Year!
Mrs. Lois Jones received her honors today at the Texas School Social Workers Conference. She is Texas State School Social Worker of the Year. Congratulations, Mrs. Jones, and Thank you for your continued commitment to our Santa Fe ISD students, staff, district and community!
The Planning Committee of the Twenty-Ninth Annual Texas School Social Workers Conference, 20/20: A Clear Vision for School Social Work, sought nominees for an annual award recognizing excellence in school-based social work practice. The Twentieth Annual Kathy Armenta Texas School Social Worker of the Year Award is awarded to an individual who has demonstrated exceptional skill and expertise in the area of school social work. Santa Fe ISD nominated our SFISD District Social Worker, Lois Jones. As a result, Mrs. Jones was selected as this year’s recipient of this prestigious award. The award will be presented at the Plenary Luncheon on Thursday, February 27, 2020. Congratulations, Mrs. Jones, for your continued commitment to our Santa Fe ISD students, staff, district and community!
