Santa Fe ISD Bus Safety Stop Arm Enforcement Program
SFISD’s first priority in the transportation program is the safety of our students. Santa Fe ISD and the City of Santa Fe are participating in a cooperative effort to improve the safety of students boarding and departing the school bus. In an effort to increase student safety, the City of Santa Fe passed an Ordinance in 2019, allowing for camera enforcement of school bus stop arm violations. SFISD currently has 10 buses with Stop Arm cameras.
