The District recognized our student, staff and substitute spotlights for the month of March. From Barnett Elementary, 4th Grader, Gienevieve Hunt is our elementary spotlight student. From Santa Fe Junior High School, 7th Grader Madison Tinney is our secondary spotlight student. From Kubacak Elementary, 1st grade teacher Emily Corely is our spotlight staff member. From RJW Elementary, Kloee Vanier substitute spotlight winner. Congratulations to all.
The District recognized the Communications Department for winning 12 STAR Awards at the TSPRA annual conference.
Proclamations being celebrated during the month of April are: National Occupational Therapist Month, Assistant Principals Week, National Library Week, Public School Volunteer Week, and Administrative Professionals Day.

Mr. Atkins updated the Board on ongoing projects. Mr. Dean Butler with the SF Historical Foundation gave an update on the renovations being made at the old Camp Wallace building and the Old School Museum.
Mrs. Gina Welsh introduced Education Foundation Board members Renee Rockers and Lindsay Haygood. They gave the 2021 annual report which included the financial performance and the programs and where they are today.
Mrs. Dillon gave an annual update on the CTE program.
Mrs. Brown gave an annual update on the Technology Department.
