Posted by Joseph Cheatham on 3/11/2020Close Contest Between Santa Fe Indians JV And Clear Creek Ends In a win for the Indians.In the bottom of the seventh inning, Santa Fe Indians JV tied things up in the last inning when Clear Creek back picked to third resulting in an error. Mitchel scored while Godinich and Smith both advanced to set the table for Brandon Vassallo to single, scoring the go ahead run. Vassallo led Santa Fe Indians JV with two hits in three at bats.Clear Creek saw the ball well today, racking up seven hits in the game. #13 and #18 all had multiple hits for Clear Creek. Jacob Cyr came in to quiet the hitters from Creek with an excelent relief performance. The Indians go undefeated at home bringing their season record to 8-1.

Santa Fe Indians JV secured the victory thanks to nine runs in the first inning. Kyle Fraser, Haze Davidson, Bryce Smith, Tripp Godinich, Jacob Cyr, and Mitchell each had RBIs in the frame. Santa Fe Indians JV got things started in the first inning. Fraser singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. One bright spot for Fort Bend Elkins was a single by #43 in the fourth inning. Davidson earned the win for Santa Fe Indians JV.
