Being a parent in this era is becoming more and more difficult when it comes to technology.   You not only have to be “savvy” enough to know WHAT social networks your kids are using, but also HOW they are being used.  There are so many social media apps out there for download, with new ones popping every day.  Knowing the basics, why they are popular, and what problems can arise when they're not used responsibly can make the difference between a positive and a negative experience for your child and for you as a parent too.
